Abstract

Abstract: The objective was to study the parameters to be taken into account when developing the therapeutic form of the CHU Pr Bocar Sidy SALL of Kati. This was a descriptive cross-sectional study. The collection took place over a period of 6 months in 2022. It concerned 70% of the workforce of doctors (n=42) and 30% of the workforce of midwives and nurses (n=23) of the said established from individual interviews. The results show that almost 2/3 of the prescribing doctors, midwives and 1/2 of the nurses know the therapeutic form. However, the body responsible for its development was almost unknown by the surveys. All of the prescribers wanted to see information relating to the pharmacology of the drug in the form. Seven pharmacology, pharmacoe-conomics and regulatory criteria were proposed as the basis for including products in the formulary. Six pharmacological and pharmaco-economic criteria have been proposed with regard to the conditions for substituting products in the formulary. However, 2 regulatory conditions have been mentioned for the removal of a product from the list of the form. The choice of the periodicity of revision of the list of drugs in the formulary ranged from 1 to 5 years.
