The objective of our study was to assess the problem of preparing preparations in pharmacies in the Bamako district. We carried out a cross-sectional descriptive study from January 2022 to January 2023. Data were collected using questionnaires from 145 pharmacies in the city of Bamako. The data collected was described using average for quantitative variables and frequency for qualitative variables. Statistical analyzes were carried out using SPSS version 20 software. The male gender was the most represented with 59.30%. The preparatory did not exist in 64% of pharmacies, and 60% were not functional. No technical support was available in 44.1%. The absence of preparers was observable in 70%. The majority of pharmacies did not know any suppliers of raw materials with 64.83%, and 86.03% did not find their raw material needs from the suppliers. This study demonstrated that pharmacies are faced with enormous problems in preparing preparations in the pharmacy.
